Five goals against the title candidates - Senta vs. ŽAK (63/64)

Before the match the Senta supporters could hardly have imagined that their favourites would inflict such a heavy defeat on title candidates ŽAK of Sombor. The game began with midfield play, then the hosts regrouped and went ahead in the 17th minute: the visiting goalkeeper parried a fierce Voros shot into the path of Vrana, who scored unchallenged.

In the second half Senta's superiority was even more marked: goals from Voros in the 50th and 65th minutes made it 3:0. ŽAK then regrouped somewhat and Savić pulled one back on the counter, but towards the end Senta produced a great finish and, with goals from Oluški and then Vujadinović, took a deserved 5:1 win. Senić and Voros stood out.
