Five goals in the replay of the abandoned match with Proleter - Senta vs. Proleter (79/80)

The Senta v Proleter match was abandoned on Sunday in the 19th minute, with the hosts leading 1:0, because of a cloudburst and more than ten centimetres of water on the pitch. As the weather had not improved after half an hour's wait, the officials of both clubs, the referees and the delegate agreed to postpone the match and replay it from 0:0 on Thursday.

In the replay the sultry, sweltering heat made it hard for any real football to develop, and the first half ended goalless. Only the second brought Senta the expected result. Popović scored three times, twice from Sablatura crosses and once from a chance created by Kerleta, Todorović scored from another Sablatura cross, and Recsko also found Gyolai's net with a masterly volley.
