Five Vukmirović goals to start the spring - Senta vs. Jedinstvo (77/78)

Senta had played poorly in their friendlies, but showed a very different face when the league resumed. They earned the emphatic win with football that was technically and tactically more mature and more incisive. The first half was somewhat hurried, and two goals came from the handful of chances in front of the visitors' goal. Jedinstvo's attacks regularly broke down before the Senta goal.

The second half was livelier. The visitors launched several counter-attacks but did not seriously trouble the assured Markov in goal. In the 82nd minute the Senta defence did concede a penalty while dealing with a dangerous attack, and Veselinov converted it confidently.
