Senta managed to keep a point at home only with great effort, as the visitors produced inventive, attractive football. Early on the hosts had a slight territorial edge and went ahead through Tevdenić in the 18th minute, but three minutes later the defenders erred and Janić equalised with a header.

The visitors then took control, and in the 28th minute, after another defensive mistake, the same player put them ahead. In the 40th minute a visiting defender handled inside the penalty area and Božić converted the penalty. After the break both forward lines created several chances but had no strength left for a goal. Jevtić and Božić stood out.
