The Čantavir supporters still remember the match three years ago when their favourites won 4:0 away to a Senta side then chasing the title. This time it happened the other way round. The hosts came out full of confidence, convinced they would win by a wide margin, but the Senta youngsters upset their plans and, with a superb display, improved their goal difference as well as taking both points. The match began with home attacks, though it was soon clear they lacked penetration. The visitors replied with quick counters and went ahead in the 16th minute: Paku took a free kick from twenty metres, the ball flew past the wall and goalkeeper Bakalić was helpless. Chasing an equaliser, the hosts forgot about defending, and in the 38th minute it was 2:0 after a solo run by the nimble Kovacs.
After the break Čantavir still held midfield but created no chances. In the 65th minute they had the opportunity to pull one back, but Bolvari missed a penalty. Ten minutes from the end, in a goalmouth scramble, Gabrić made such unlucky contact that the ball ended up in his own net. That broke the hosts completely, and Paku added the fourth in the 83rd minute. After the final whistle the Čantavir supporters applauded the visiting side.
