Four goals in the town derby - Žitopromet vs. Senta (91/92)

Nothing of note happened in the first quarter of an hour, with play confined between the two penalty areas. In the 17th minute Žitopromet won their first corner, Szucs took it from the right and Csernak glanced it into the net. The hosts had two more chances after the goal, missed by Csernak and Verba. In the 30th minute, in a harmless-looking situation, Kiraly handled in his own box and the referee rightly pointed to the spot - Simendić made no mistake.

The equaliser lifted the visitors, who went ahead in the 43rd minute through Tanasković after a corner from the right. The second half had barely started when Žitopromet levelled: Kaszas began the move on the left, Szucs ran onto the long ball and played it first time to the penalty spot, and Verba's diving header found the top right corner. The hosts then took complete control and had plenty of chances - Verba in the 56th and 59th minutes, Csernak in the 71st - but the score did not change again.
