The three points were decided within the first 15 minutes. Grujić turned Radin's corner in from close range in the 13th minute, Stojanov fired into the right corner after a goalmouth scramble in the 15th, and in the 17th Vasin's 20-metre shot went in off the post. In the 41st minute Kakaš glanced Popov's cross into the far corner.

The tempo dropped after the break, but Senta still created chances, although Jović, Stojanov and Nikolin could not add to the score. The win took Senta to the top of the table.
