In an exciting, attractive and combative match the hosts played the leading role for two thirds of the time. After some dangerous but fruitless moves by the visitors from Lovćenac, Senta took control, crowned in the 35th minute by a 30-metre thunderbolt from Harmat. The second goal took only three minutes more, Gajda dribbling through the whole defence before scoring.
The hosts remained worthy opponents for the league's second-placed side after the break, though in the 58th minute Njegoš's best player, Đukanović, pulled one back after the ball was given away cheaply. Substitute Gyatko was not content with that and made the win emphatic with goals in the 82nd and 86th minutes.
