The small crowd was warmed by the goals, and by the many good chances the hosts missed. The forwards created opening after opening in masterly fashion and then, just as masterfully, shot at the goalkeeper or wide. With few exceptions the hosts were camped in the visitors' half, but mistakes kept creeping in. Until the 30th minute their attacks were also met by the visitors' luck. Then Todorović beat his man and the goalkeeper could not hold his powerful shot. In the 42nd minute Krizsan headed a Gvozdenović cross in elegantly. In the last minute of the half Todorović was brought down in the box, but Soti struck the post from the penalty.
The second half too began with Senta well on top, though the visitors now had a few feeble attacks. In the 72nd minute Rozsa took the ball in the middle, beat three defenders and found the corner with a low shot for 3:0. In the 86th minute Krizsan headed in a Todorović corner. On chances it would have been no surprise had the hosts scored twice as many. Every member of the home side worked hard and deserves praise, and the visitors, defeat notwithstanding, defended well.
