Four past Železničar and a penalty saved - Senta vs. Železničar (78/79)

With the wind behind them Senta were constantly on top in the first half. Many chances went unused because the shooting was inaccurate. In the 8th minute Popović, from the right and some 30 metres out, lofted the ball towards goal and, carried by the wind, it ended up in the top right corner. A few minutes later Kalman shot just over. Krivokapić carried a cleared ball forward, dribbled through the defence and scored a fine goal. The visitors attacked too and Senta nearly conceded, but the winger was late to the cross. In the 38th minute Kalman shot over from a great position, then Sablatura headed over the bar, and a few minutes later Krivokapić did the same.

In the 50th minute Rozsa dribbled through the visiting defence and fired into the top right corner. In the 53rd Sablatura left his markers behind and scored a fine goal over the goalkeeper's head. The visitors, now with the wind, attacked too, and their quick wingers often created danger in front of the home goal, but Markov saved. In the 65th minute Bačlija took the ball, shot without hesitation, and the low effort went in under Markov. The visitors attacked more and more, and in the 73rd minute Rozsa brought down their winger in the area; A. Vidaković took the penalty, but Markov turned it away for a corner.
