It was a real league match, in which both teams, sometimes too robustly, went for both points. The first quarter of an hour was cautious, and then the chances came: in the 16th minute Markov punched away a header from five metres, in the 21st a Miklos shot went just past the right-hand post, and in the 33rd Todorović shot wide from eight metres. In the 44th minute the home goalkeeper saved a close-range Barna header.

The pace was even higher after the break. In the 59th minute Todorović got away from his marker and struck the right-hand post, and Agoston put the rebound in. The hosts equalised as early as the 62nd minute from a penalty converted by Martinović, and in the 80th they went ahead when Crnojević headed a free kick from the corner of the box into the top right corner. The home joy did not last long: in the 84th minute Todorović was brought down in the box and Ivica Zmukić equalised from the spot.
