Four goals, three red cards and two penalties marked a hard-fought match played at an excellent tempo. In the 19th minute Antonić brought down a cross from the left in front of the six-yard box and calmly rolled it in. In the 33rd the hosts doubled their lead: Mezei converted the penalty awarded for a foul on Milić.
The visitors then attacked more and more seriously: the Palić goalkeeper saved a Sarapa shot with his foot and then kept out Spahić. In the 43rd minute Pršić fouled Vasin and received his second yellow card, and Gecić confidently converted the penalty. Senta stayed on top in the second half, but the equaliser took until the 82nd minute, when Kakaš passed the ball in from close range after a corner from the left.
In the 84th minute Sarapa received his second yellow card, and a minute later so did the hosts' Marković. Even so the hosts could have won it: Matijašević missed huge chances in the 87th and 92nd minutes.
