From two down to a point on the opening day - Slavija vs. Senta (84/85)

The crowd saw a very good match that ended in a fair draw. The hosts were the better side in the first half and built a two-goal lead, while after the break the visitors improved and managed to draw level. Five minutes in, Z. Petras shook off his marker and drove a low ball across, and Horvath arrived on time to score from a tight angle. Despite the home pressure it was the visitors who then wasted a huge chance, and Slavija did not punish them until the 20th minute: Horvath brought the ball down and set off down the right, and when everyone expected a shot he unselfishly rolled it to the unmarked Petras, who did not hesitate.

The second half began with the visitors on top. They had clearly not given up, threatened the home goal more and more often, and in the 58th minute Severić handled in the box. Farago converted the deserved penalty, and in the 66th minute Kitli made it 2:2. Farago and Kitli stood out for Senta.
