Goalless against a spirited Panonija - Senta vs. Panonija (81/82)

Panonija proved a combative and sporting opponent and fully deserved their point. Indeed, had Markov not been in the Senta goal, the organised and spirited visitors might have gone home with both. The hosts repeated the hurried, disorganised football of the Obilić match, and the Panonija forwards' moves were far more dangerous.

The second part also brought a contest between evenly matched sides, with many passing and control errors. With a little luck Čičić and then Rakić could have put the visitors ahead, and in the 26th minute Markov made another big save. Only in the last five or six minutes did Senta pin their opponents back and force a series of corners and free kicks, but the Panonija defence closed up well.
