The first half hour was evenly contested, after which Senta took control. Jović and Milivojev worked two good openings but could not take either of them.

After the break the visitors raised the tempo further and created more chances. The biggest one came in the 78th minute, when Jović found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, only for Trbojević to save his shot. On the balance of play Senta deserved all three points.
