Goals and twists galore - Senta vs. Preporod (99/00)

Two mid-table sides went at each other openly, and the match was correspondingly rich in goals and swings. The experienced visitors, who have played at higher levels, kept pace for as long as their fitness allowed, after which the young Senta side took over and forced the win.

The score could have been kinder to the hosts: they were awarded a penalty as early as the 3rd minute, but Gvozdenović put it over the bar. Nerves got the better of some players towards the end, and in the 85th minute the substitute Holló picked up a second yellow for dissent - which no longer affected the outcome.
