Great superiority but only a point against Sport - Senta vs. Sport (55/56)

The first ten minutes were eventful: Senta attacked hard, but the visitors' defence stood firm. In the 21st minute a Kalman cross grazed the bar and the alert Hajnrih drove the rebound into the net. Soon afterwards Sport equalised from a harmless-looking counter-attack: Kiš ran onto a ball swung in from the right and his lightning shot went in under the diving goalkeeper.

After the break Senta gained complete control, as the 8:1 corner count shows, and the visitors looked set for a heavy defeat. But the goal only came in the 23rd minute of the half, when Hajnrih turned in Vlaščić's cross. The hosts kept attacking with almost every man in the opposing half, and paid for it: Vuković equalised with a fine goal at the end of a sudden counter-attack. Senta's forwards missed several chances, and the referee erred against both sides. Černak, Vlaščić and Fajka stood out.
