A deserved title was being celebrated in Đala, and Senta were mere onlookers both on and off the pitch. Their one consolation was the honour of being first to congratulate the champions. The gap between the two sides was plain to see, and the impression was that the hosts scored whenever they felt like it.
In the 21st minute a Vignjević corner ran through the defence and the alert Kitli put it away. Three minutes later Utornik meant to cross, Vitković misjudged the flight, and the ball dropped over him into the far corner. Senta had a glimmer of hope in the 34th minute, when Todorović, on the run, beat Sajgo with a thunderous shot. In the 38th Kitli made it 3:1 among hesitant defenders, and a minute before the interval Vignjević found the top right corner. Temunović scored the fifth in the 78th minute, and four minutes later Kitli completed his hat-trick to round off the scoring.
