Senta attacked throughout, while the visitors mostly sat back. The hosts could not take their first-half chances but raised the tempo after the break, and in the 50th minute the referee awarded a penalty for handball, which Nagypal converted confidently.

Engi equalised around fifteen minutes later, but Senta kept going and Gyori scored the winner in the 69th minute. After two rounds Senta sat top of the table.
