Gyurcsik keeps a point in Zrenjanin - Radnički vs. Senta (65/66)

The spectators expected more from title candidates Senta, who were weaker than usual. Even so, it was a varied match of good quality. Radnički played more forcefully and, judging by the big chances, were closer to winning; Senta owed the draw mainly to goalkeeper Gyurcsik, who three times saved a certain goal. The visitors played more technically and attractively, but their forwards were soft and overelaborated.

After a series of attacks Senta went ahead in the 68th minute: a cross from the left flew over everyone, Kispal lofted it back from the right, and Pinter II., running in, swept it into the net. Six minutes later the hosts equalised with a fierce shot from some twenty metres into the top corner.
