The game opened cautiously before the visitors gradually took control. Milivojev scored with a low 18-metre shot in the 38th minute, and in the 44th Radin produced the goal of the game, firing into the top left corner from around 25 metres.

Senta kept attacking after the break. Kakaš converted a penalty given for handball in the 51st minute, and in the 54th Jović's attempted cross flew into the top corner. Milivojev struck again, and in the 85th minute Stojanov finished a solo run for the sixth goal.
