The yellow-and-blues were at their sparkling best this time, and on chances the win could have been bigger still. They attacked fiercely from the first whistle, and the chances began to turn into goals in the 18th minute: after a well-worked move Elezović won the ball and laid it off to the well-placed Rudics, who scored without a second thought. A minute later Elezović missed a huge chance, but he made up for it in the 25th, finding the left corner from thirty metres.
In the 35th minute Roganović spotted Rudics in front of goal and it was 3:0, and seven minutes later the same player started the move that Elezović finished for the fourth.
The second half was played almost entirely in the visitors' half, and had the hosts not overcomplicated their finishing the win could have reached double figures. The fifth goal took until the 70th minute, when Belec crossed after a move down the right and Csuzdi, arriving at pace, gave the goalkeeper no chance. Ten minutes later Belec worked himself free in the box and scored the sixth. Referee Horak of Subotica earned top marks.
