Half-time lead lost in Bajša - Partizan vs. Senta (82/83)

In the last match of the season, played at a good tempo, the visitors were the better side in the first half and deservedly led. In the 6th minute Farago shot unexpectedly from some 25 metres and the ball went into the right corner off the leg of home defender Zsemberi. In the 23rd minute Rozsa struck the post with a free kick from 17 metres, and in the 32nd he was rightly sent off for abusing the referee. Just a minute later Drašković equalised from seven metres. In the 45th minute, after a corner from the right, Đurović put Senta back in front.

After the break the hosts raised the tempo and deservedly turned the match round. In the 51st minute Farago hit the crossbar from seven metres. Partizan equalised in the 60th minute, Barna shooting masterfully past the advancing Arokszallasi; three minutes later the same player struck the crossbar, and in the 85th Kovacs headed a cross into the left corner. The referee handled the match excellently.
