Senta pulled off a real feat on the opening day, as visiting teams seldom come away with anything from the hostile ground in Karavukovo. The hosts went ahead through Sr. Stojković in the 43rd minute, and Nemanja Nikolić equalised in the 62nd.

The point came despite the linesman getting two big decisions wrong at Senta's expense: he failed to flag offside for the home goal, and later stopped a Senta forward for an offside that was not there.
