The hosts went ahead from one of their attacks when the visitors' last defender, Harmath, put through his own goal: the wet ball slid off his foot, changed direction and wrong-footed goalkeeper Toth Melykuti.

After the break Senta took control with more combative and better organised football, but for all their determination luck favoured the hosts. Milunović made it 2:0 in the 75th minute, and Harmath pulled one back ten minutes later.
