Heavy defeat in Novi Kneževac to end the season - Obilić vs. Senta (80/81)

In the last match of the season the Obilić players delighted their supporters with a superb display and deservedly won big against Senta, a side from the top half of the table. Had the home forwards' shots been accompanied by more luck, the capable visitors would have suffered an even bigger disaster. From the first whistle the hosts went on the attack and, after missing a few promising chances, Đakov put them ahead in the 24th minute from the edge of the six-yard box, among frozen defenders. The murmur in the stands had not yet died down when, two minutes later, a left-footed Sekulić shot went in off the post.

After the two goals the home side kept attacking tirelessly, but the score did not change before the break. After the interval the visitors seemed to have regrouped, and the match looked open until the 56th minute. Then Đakov, who did not fall for the visitors' offside trap, broke through in time and scored past Markov, and the hosts added three more before the end. N. Zmukić and Štrbački, from the penalty spot, scored for Senta.
