Heavy defeat in Stara Moravica - Sloboda vs. Senta (80/81)

Sloboda inflicted a heavy defeat on the title contenders on their own ground. The hosts played openly and well from the start, untroubled by the heavy pitch; indeed, the bad weather seemed to suit them perfectly. In the 5th minute Borković beat Markov from a solo run. The visitors even had luck on their side in the first half, as for all their efforts the Sloboda players could not score again.

After the change of ends P. Žigić, in the 52nd minute, received the ball in the middle after a one-two and his lob dropped into the net behind the helpless goalkeeper. The visitors then staked everything on attack, without success. In the 80th minute Horvath, who had only just come on, sealed their fate with a header, and in the 85th Petrović, the best player of the match, set the final score. Sloboda deserved their win. For Senta, Markov and Todorović were somewhat above average.
