Heavy home defeat to Čantavir - Senta vs. Čantavir (86/87)

The two hundred or so home supporters left the ground disappointed. Senta played well below their ability, and the more spirited and better-drilled visitors punished them with goals and deservedly took both points. In the first half the teams were still evenly matched. Seven minutes in, the visiting midfielders cleverly released Vukadinović down the right, and he dribbled past several players before scoring with an unstoppable shot from 18 metres. The goal did not shake the hosts: they regrouped and equalised after some twenty minutes of territorial superiority. Agoston, running down the right wing, spotted Kitli in position and crossed precisely, and Kitli headed in. Then a fierce Mazak shot from 16 metres flew just over the bar. The hosts could have gone ahead, but Kis Bicskei volleyed straight at the goalkeeper from five metres, and Korodi then caught Arokszallasi by surprise with a shot from thirty metres into the bottom right corner.

The visitors' third goal, in the 54th minute, was the best of the lot: Vukadinović struck a hard, low shot from twenty-five metres, the goalkeeper reacted late and the ball ended up in the bottom left corner. After that the home side resembled a routed army, and Čantavir took advantage, Csipak setting the final score from a goalmouth scramble in the 85th minute.
