The sparse crowd saw a very fine match. The home side took control from the start, created the better chances and took one of them, going ahead in the 22nd minute with a goal of rare beauty from Andrić. After that Senta had the better openings and hit the post, but most of their attacks were dealt with by the excellent goalkeeper Lengyel.
The football stayed at a high level after the break, with accurate passing and flowing attacks at both ends. In the 57th minute Markov parried a shot poorly and Štrbački cleared almost off the line. The visitors equalised through Kitli in the 70th minute and had a few more good chances before the end without taking them. It was a sporting match free of rough play, and the result was a fair one. Birkas stood out for Senta.
