Krivaja started with a rejuvenated side, as four of their key players were ill. The first goal came in the 10th minute, when Terzić controlled a cross well and beat Novak. Both teams were very poor for the rest of the half.
There was no further goal until the second half: after a corner Milošević rose well and headed in to make it 2:0. That woke the visitors up a little, and they scored from a quick attack through Kovacs. In the 87th minute Mezei was brought down near the penalty spot, the referee awarded the penalty and Petrović converted. Krivaja could have added to their lead before the end, but Petrović and Patarcsics failed to take their chances. Kovacs and Paku stood out for the visitors, and the refereeing trio handled the match excellently.
