Krivaja too good for a defensive Senta - Krivaja vs. Senta (86/87)

The Krivaja players began superbly against a Senta side that set out to defend from the first minute. In the 22nd minute Patarcsics won the ball, shook off his markers and fired past Mojsilov. Before the break there were a few more chances at both ends, but the score did not change.

Krivaja shone after the interval. In the 60th minute Patarcsics was brought down in the box and Petrović converted the penalty with confidence. Senta pulled one back through Kis Bicskei in the 73rd minute, but Krivaja replied at once with another goal. In the 87th minute the visiting goalkeeper could only parry a fierce Pešut shot, and Ogrizović arrived at the right moment to head the ball in. It was a very sporting match, and the refereeing trio did an excellent job.
