Krizsan strikes twice on the counter in Subotica - Železničar vs. Senta (78/79)

The derby went to Senta, although they mostly defended: they scored twice from two counter-attacks. Until the middle of the first half it was mostly midfield play, and then Todorović intercepted a Kopilović clearance and crossed, and Krizsan headed in. Six minutes before the break Pufek had the chance to equalise, but his header struck the crossbar.

In the second half the hosts had the wind behind them. Almost an hour had been played when Markov punched a corner from the right towards Barna, and the ball went in off the left-back's shoulder. Ten minutes later Kopunović lost the ball at halfway, Krizsan carried it into the area and from seven or eight metres struck the post, from which it went in. The hosts tried to equalise in the time remaining but could not create a chance. Senta might have had a third had the referee given a penalty in the 81st minute, when Bito was brought down as he broke through. Soti and Krizsan stood out for the visitors.
