Late goal not enough - Obilić vs. Senta (90/91)

Both sides had lost several key players during the summer transfer window, and it showed that bedding in the youngsters would take time. The hosts started the better and were ahead in the 6th minute, Đukičin glancing in a header from a corner on the left. After the early goal Obilić inexplicably eased off, which let the visitors settle. Senta's first chance came in the 35th minute, but Gajda's header was cleared off the line.

The second half had barely begun when it was 2:0: Csuvik beat his marker and shot hard, Bontovics could only parry, and the ball fell to Kujundžić, who made no mistake. The visitors pulled one back six minutes from the end, Gajda punishing the home goalkeeper's poor positioning. There was no time for more.
