Markov saves a point on opening day in Novi Žednik - Preporod vs. Senta (79/80)

With a little luck the hosts could have taken both points, as they showed more initiative and created more chances. In the 28th minute, after a goalmouth scramble, Rupar broke through but could not beat the excellent Markov.

After an hour Recsko cleared a Damjanović shot off the line, and just before the end the Senta goalkeeper had to dive at Simić's feet to clear. Markov and Rozsa stood out for Senta.
