The home side produced an unusually poor display. The first ten minutes passed with the visitors slightly on top. In the 11th minute Sablatura took a free kick from the right, some 25 metres out, and found the head of Soti, who made no mistake. Until the 23rd minute it was midfield play, and then Ivanić got away with a long ball and equalised past the helpless goalkeeper.
In the 2nd minute of the second half, after a scramble in front of the visitors' goal, Bošnjak put through his own net. The visitors played very hard, often harder than is permitted, which brought two yellow cards. In the 6th minute of the half, after one such challenge, the referee gave a free kick against the visitors and was cautioning Bošnjak for the offence. At that point Marjanović pushed the referee, who sent him off. The player refused to leave the field, several others surrounded the referee, and he abandoned the match. By its decision of 10 May the league's competition committee awarded the match 3:0 to Senta.
