Miklos equalises against Proleter - Senta vs. Proleter (81/82)

The third appearance in front of their own crowd did not bring a win either for a Senta side still playing below its ability, so even this point is valuable. It would have been no great surprise had the visitors taken both: they created several clear chances but took only one. Proleter played a closed game and threatened on the counter. In the 30th minute Borza, exploiting hesitation in the home defence, beat Markov with a thunderous shot from 16 metres, and a minute later another effort of his went inches over the bar.

After the break the hosts equalised inside three minutes, Miklos scoring from a Todorović cross. After a short spell of Senta pressure the visitors took over again, and the crowd of 350 saw a real league battle with counter-attack following counter-attack. Todorović and Sablatura had chances, as did Kokeny and Nyari at the other end, but both goalkeepers were equal to them. On the run of play the result was fair.
