Missed chances, then defeat in Subotica - Elektrovojvodina vs. Senta (74/75)

The crowd saw a real league match played at a strong tempo. In the first twenty minutes the visitors had a noticeable edge over hosts fielding four reserves and created three or four good chances, but took none of them. Elektrovojvodina then came into it with several dangerous moves, and after half an hour one of their forwards was alone in front of Gyolai but shot into the goalkeeper's hands.

After the turnaround the picture changed, and two of the green-and-whites' fine attacks ended in goals. In the 61st minute, after a move down the left, Nagy found the bottom left corner from a few steps. Play had barely resumed when Dulić broke clear and his thunderbolt went in off Gyolai's hands. In the remaining half hour or so the hosts stepped up the pressure but could not score again. Szorcsik and Szkajevszki stood out for Senta.
