A combative game between a youthful Senta side and a more experienced Polet ended level, even though the hosts had more of the chances.

The visitors struck first from a corner, Jovančov scoring in the 57th minute. The equaliser came soon after, when Nagypal converted a penalty in the 63rd. Senta laid siege to the Polet goal late on, and the visitors were lucky when Nagypal's thunderous 90th-minute strike crashed against the post.
