Senta continued their winning run and, if not easily, took the two points that keep them top with a lively and convincing display. Against a Bačka side from Mol that also played very well, the crowd saw a match of average quality but good tempo. Vukmirović, a newcomer to the home side, put Senta ahead after only seven minutes with a beautiful header from an Agoston cross. A series of furious home attacks followed the goal, and in the 11th minute a tremendous shot from Kitli missed by inches. The visitors then began to counter-attack as well.
The second half also began with home attacks. In the 50th minute a Nikolić header crashed against the crossbar, and in the 57th Kitli got clear in the box but this time failed to score. In the minutes that followed the visitors came back into it: Crnojlović received an excellent ball, but his shot came back off the bar and Potpara cleared. The referee, who handled the match excellently throughout, sent off J. Nagy for repeated rough play. The visitors threw everything forward for an equaliser, but the defence of Birkas, Potpara and Gyore proved impenetrable. Bokodi missed a huge chance in the 80th minute, but made amends two minutes from time to set the final score.
