Senta won in warm weather with a middling performance, and they had only themselves to blame for the outcome staying in doubt: they wasted several chances that had looked certain. It nearly cost them in the 75th minute, when the substitute Krisztián Szuromi broke down the right and hit the post.

Shortly afterwards came the biggest opening of the match: Gyatko met Belec's cross from the left unmarked three metres out, only to hit the visiting goalkeeper. The win all but secured Senta's place in the league, though the promised spectacle for the crowd will take a good deal more than this.
