An own goal and one from Ikić - Senta vs. Potisje (98/99)

On the opening day Senta controlled the whole of the first half and led by two at the break. In the 27th minute Ikić floated the ball into the box and Barna, the Kanjiža centre-half, turned it into his own net. In the 43rd Ikić claimed a goal of his own, driving a rebound off the post past a slow-reacting defence and goalkeeper Novak.

The visitors regrouped after the interval and held the ball for longer spells. Their counter-attacks reached the Senta goal several times but produced nothing. In the last ten minutes the hosts took over again and worked a number of chances, though the score no longer changed.
