The changes produced a markedly better performance than in the previous two matches. The team was prepared for this game by Antal Rozsa, once an outstanding Senta player, in place of Gyorgy Major. The hosts could have been two up inside five minutes, but neither Gyurcsik nor Vicei had any luck with their shots, one of them coming back off the post. The misses were punished: in the 9th minute, at the end of a harmless-looking move down the right, Nenadov found Vilovski on the left, Bodo was a fraction late, and the visiting forward fired into the top left corner from the corner of the box.
The visitors' joy lasted eleven minutes. Toth Abonyi, the best player on the pitch, picked the ball up on the edge of the area and equalised. Senta stayed on top but kept wasting their chances. They were the more dangerous side after the break too, the visitors mostly defending and trying the occasional long shot, with Vitković always well placed.
Sloga gradually settled and, albeit through an own goal, took both points: in the 70th minute, in a goalmouth scramble, home centre-half Toth accidentally rolled the ball into his own net. The hosts were the better side, but the points went to Ostojićevo. Referee Matić of Mol had an excellent game.
