In their last home match the young yellow-and-blues from the banks of the Tisa managed to prove themselves in normal time, but came off second best in the penalty shootout. The crowd saw two different halves. In the first the visitors often had a slight edge and frequently threatened the home goal with organised, quick attacks. In the 27th minute Vujović seized on a misplaced home pass in midfield and scored with an unstoppable shot.
The hosts had more of the play after the break. In the 50th minute Gajda's diving header from a scoring position missed the target, and Belec striking the post in the 66th underlined their superiority. The territorial advantage finally told in the 80th minute, when a well-organised, quick attack ended in a big goalmouth scramble from which the alert Pinter equalised.
