Points shared with Jadran in a hard-fought match - Senta vs. Jadran (86/87)

The home crowd saw a hard-fought match of good tempo in which the referee did not show a single yellow card. Milanović threatened the home goal as early as the 6th minute and hit the post. After some twenty minutes of visiting superiority the hosts settled too. In the 33rd minute Racsmany only just saved a hard, low shot from Csuzdi from 18 metres, and then Kitli's cross towards the well-placed Agoston was not accurate enough. In the 40th minute the goalkeeper kept out Kis Bicskei, but two minutes later Tomić played a good ball to Nikola Zmukić, who spotted Agoston running down the right, and he directed the ball to Kis Bicskei in front of goal, who this time made no mistake.

The second half continued with the hosts on top in midfield, though their attacks posed no great threat. Jadran meanwhile gained a slight edge, and from an attack that looked completely harmless Barović equalised in a big goalmouth scramble in the 54th minute. An even contest followed, with both sides missing promising chances. Referee Petrović handled the match excellently.
