Potisje avenged their autumn defeat and deservedly took both points with an organised, spirited display. The match began with the visitors slightly on top. In the 15th minute Nikičić took a free kick from the corner of the box, the Senta defence reacted late and the ball went in by the left-hand post. In the 30th minute Nikičić beat Markov again. The hosts played without heart or ideas.
In the second half Senta took control and laid siege to the visitors' goal for some twenty minutes, but the forwards produced nothing and goalkeeper Nyers was excellent. The hosts had meanwhile used both substitutes, so after an injury to Barna in the 70th minute they were down to ten men. In the 80th minute Almasi scored the visitors' third on the counter, and Nikolić headed a consolation in the 87th. It was Senta's second heavy defeat in a row.
