The Čoka side did not live up to their high league position this time: they never seriously threatened from open play, and the corner count was 9:4 to the hosts. Senta attacked fiercely from the first whistle and could have led in the 3rd minute, when Suli pulled Roganović down in the box. Referee Balać pointed to the spot without hesitation, but goalkeeper Lovrić turned Bulatović's kick away for a corner. The hosts remained the more dangerous side and forced four corners in ten minutes, though their attacks were littered with mistakes. In the 25th minute Radak, unmarked about fourteen metres out, shot straight at Lovrić, and in the 33rd a Đurović drive went just past the left post. The visitors' only real chance came in the 29th minute after a defensive slip, but Vitković was alert.
Senta were the more dangerous side after the break too. In the 53rd minute the defence repeated its earlier mistake and Vitković had to race thirty metres out of his goal to save the situation. Two minutes later the crowd could breathe again: a combination between Roganović and Hasanović ended with Kovacs scoring the opener. From then on the hosts were completely on top. Lovrić just managed to keep out a fierce shot from Kovacs, and in the 75th minute the right post denied Đurović. In the 80th Kovacs played Roganović through, and he finished in style for 2:0.
The excellent referee Balać did not need to show a single card.
