Saved penalty earns a point against the leaders - Senta vs. Sloga (50/51)

The match began with Sloga attacks, but Senta took the lead in the 8th minute: in the course of a serious home attack the ball reached Popović, who in his confusion put it into his own net. Fajka then missed two chances and Roganović shot straight at the goalkeeper from a good position. In the 33rd minute Fajka broke away on the right and set up Fogaras, who made it 2:0 with a thunderous shot. Barely two minutes later the Senta goalkeeper punched a free kick by Spanović from 18 metres out of the top corner, but the alert Đorđević put the ball in.

Sloga were on top in the second half. Roganović shot wide from a good position after a pass from Fajka, and the visitors mounted attack after attack, pushing the hosts back into their own half. In the 26th minute of the half Pavlović turned with the ball and equalised. In the 32nd minute Heinrich handled in the area and the referee gave a penalty, but the Senta goalkeeper saved the kick from Spanović with a brilliant dive. Sloga played excellently and on the run of play deserved to win; Gadžer, Buza and Heinrich did well for Senta.
