The home supporters greeted the champions with applause. Although Senta arrived with a reserve side and the points no longer mattered to them, they played excellently and earned the ovation with their sporting conduct. Abraham scored the first goal in the 22nd minute, five minutes later the hosts equalised through an own goal after a free kick, and in the 37th minute they went ahead with a volley from a cross.
The second half also began with Radnički attacks, and they made it 3:1 in the 53rd minute. Senta did not give up: Laczko pulled one back in the 63rd minute, and in the 75th Abraham scored directly from a corner. The hosts got the winner in the 85th minute. Senta finished the championship with 19 wins, 10 draws and 5 defeats.
