The first half was cautious, with the defences on top. Even so, Zec slipped away from his markers in the 16th minute and put the visitors ahead from close range.

The hosts upped the pace after the break, and Pauljević equalised with a solo run in the 57th minute. Bačka then went back in front with two counter-attacks, through Momić in the 72nd and Zec in the 74th minute. Stojanov replied with two headers, in the 75th and 86th minutes, to make it 3:3.
