The whole match was played with the home side on top. There were plenty of chances, but the visiting goalkeeper kept goal well. Senta over-elaborated, and in many cases inaccurate passes spoiled their finishing.

The only goal came in the 39th minute of the first half: the hosts' right winger got away from his marker and crossed accurately, and Štrbački, arriving at just the right moment, shot first time into the net. The visitors did not threaten the Senta goal at all, so the home goalkeeper had little to do.
